About the Website

This site was coded on a 1920 x 1080 monitor using VSCode. I recommend to view this site on a desktop using Firefox, although I'm trying to optimize it for all browsers and devices.

I picked up coding at the beginning of the summer of 2024. I learned the ropes by coding an older version of my site, then at the end of the summer (9/4/24, precisely) I decided to start from scratch to put my new skills to use.

I plan to finish this website before 2025, although my project and gallery pages will never be "complete", since I'm always adding new content to them.

About the Webmaster

"Why/how did you start coding?"

I took a business writing class last year, and one of our projects was to make a personal/portfolio website. I made mine in carrd, and it was... okay. One of my classmates already had a neocities website, and told us all about webhosting and stuff. That was the spark that really motivated me to learn HTML/CSS. Shoutout to Wren, wherever they are. :)

For the "how" part of this question, I started by copying a website layout and tweaking things as I needed. If I didn't know how to do something, I'd go to stackoverflow or w3schools. Eventually I got comfortable enough to start building a website from scratch. This is a good time to direct you to my credits page; it lists assets and resources I've used while making this site.

I post my art on my Instagram every so often, and occasionally my Tiktok. I also have a Youtube where I post my music.

Additionally, while these aren't necessarily "social media", I do have an Artfight and Toyhou.se.

It doesn't mean anything in particular, it's just an alias I came up with a couple years ago. I think it rhymes well :)
