11/10: The Comeback
Dear Internet,
I'm so sad I've had to stop doing webdev for a while to focus on my school and work stuff. It's not that I don't like what I'm doing in college, I just
wish that there were more than 24 hours in a day.
Now, for a long-awaited update... I'm now working on getting my projects page up! The reason why it took so long in the first place was because
I was conflicted on how to format everything. I'm going for something way simpler now instead of that grid layout with mobile responsiveness I was
going for in the first place. God, that was hell to figure out how to code. Anyways, I have some exciting things coming up. I'm taking a class on
visual anthropology, and I'll definitely be posting my final project here. It's going to be about pro vs anti-AI generated art sentiments and
how artists can incorporate AI into their art. I have to workshop my actual thesis more, but I have some Thoughts and Opinons on the topic :)
For my Winter Term project, I'm going to be doing a self-guided art intensive. Basically, I'm gonna spend a month fucking around with my art
and working on things I'm bad at, like perspective and anatomy. I think it's gonna make me more confident in my art, and therefore my gallery
will be filled with stuff I actually like. I'm excited. I haven't gotten a lot of time to create my personal art this semester.
So those are my upcoming projects. They're kinda underwhelming, I know, but I'm really happy to be getting back into my creative swing after the
hell that was the beginning of this semester. Well, not that it was entirely bad... I've just been having a hard time balancing all my responsiblities.
I'm on the program board, rugby team, trans advocacy club board, and have 2 jobs... and am taking a full courseload + an additional course... yeah I'm
having a hard time finding time for myself between all of that.
College is still fun, though. I'm really grateful that I get to do all this stuff. But yeah, I do complain a lot. I'll start writing Actually Interesting
Weblogs soon, instead of glorified diary entires, don't you worry.
That's it for now!
